Tucson Months of Inventory

Months of Inventory in Tucson

Months of Inventory, also called the absorption rate, is a measure of how long it would take to sell off all the homes for sale at the current rate that homes are selling. Months of inventory is a way to evaluate home supply, the level of housing available in Tucson. A balanced market is usually around 5-6 months of inventory, with anything less being a Seller’s market, and anything more being a Buyer’s market. Because the number of sales increase during the summer in Tucson, the months of inventory figure tends to drop over the summer – and the opposite happens in the winter when sales slow down.
